Collection SOLD OUT in under two minutes
NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / October 10, 2022 / In today’s bear market, NFTs unfortunately are not “flying off the shelves.” However, leave it to Trey Smith, Silicon Valley gaming tycoon, and Founder/CEO of MECH.com, the first no-code gaming engine with an epic battlefield Web3 game that encourages and was designed for a true creator’s economy.
Just as Smith’s project MECH.com is notorious for selling out each drop under 30 minutes every release (MECH sold out eight MECH NFT collections and three MECH land sales so far), the same record holds true for his personal NFT collection that he dropped on OpenSea on September 27, 2022 entitled “Mankind by the Assembly.”
Mankind” is an NFT collection of 31 unique AI artworks personally designed by Smith. A generative art algorithm is a tool that allows engineers and artists alike to utilize an automotive process in art creation, commonly used to develop and create large NFT collections. The components of a generated art algorithm are initially designed through layers in popular creative suites, before writing the code to a smart contract. Smith’s NFTs depict what he envisions would be the last images one would see before human extinction. He designed his artwork on Midjourney. Midjourney is an independent research lab exploring new mediums of imaginable works of art. “It’s my favorite creator’s tool for that style of art,” declares Smith.
In true Smith fashion, on September 27th, “Mankind” sold out in under two minutes. Within the first 30 minutes, the total volume traded was 1.8ETH. Within 45 minutes, the collection volume traded shot up to 9ETH. On September 28th, the total volume traded was 9.8ETH and as of October 6th, the total volume traded was 11ETH.
A component of Smith’s mission with each of his brands has consistently been to give power to his community, which he has succeeded with MECH.com and now with Mankind by The Assembly. Smith is leading by example by showing different ways a creator can take advantage of creator tools, like the ones in MECH, to generate their own Web3 assets to earn profit. Smith’s latest personal collection, along with MECH, exemplifies a pivotal movement in Web3 that has led Smith to pioneer a true creator’s economy, and allot power to the community and their creators.

Over the past few months, Wendy's added a strawberry version of its iconic Frosty to its menu and welcomed back the Pretzel Pub Burger and Pub Fries. It also brought back French Toast Sticks, and while none of these are radical innovations (a French Toast Stick appears to be a piece of French Toast cut up) they do keep things interesting for customers. Restaurant Brands International's Burger King has tested and tried more Whoppers in recent years than most people can keep track of.
