Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.
Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.
Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you, as we put together a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss. Here’s what to look out for this week.
Who: Hollow Sun and Nate Hill
What: Three photography edition pieces
When: October 3 @ 6:30 p.m. ET
Where: Nifty Gateway
Why: Photographers Hollow Sun and Nate Hill team up for a collaborative drop of three open-edition NFTs. Featuring “twisted landscapes from the land of fire and ice” this collection combines surreal augmented imagery with unique NFT mechanics to present a collection that Hill says is made to evolve over time.

When: October 4 @ 3:00 p.m. ET

Why: In the early 2000s, ex-graffiti artist and indie label owner Austin Wilde launched a hip-hop-inspired series called BADMEANiNGOOD, for which he commissioned Banksy to produce four album covers and posters, and an additional 12″ sleeve for the 2002–2003 releases. These five creations have now been unearthed by Wilde, and are set to be immortalized on the blockchain as NFTs.
