It was the question of 2022 that nobody seemed to have an answer for: What is an NFT?
These B1G coaches couldn’t tell you either, but they gave it their best shot in a video posted by Big Ten Network on Tuesday.

We asked our @B1GFootball coaches to do just that, and it went mostly as expected. pic.twitter.com/wEidvN0iev

Illinois head coach Bret Bielema gave it to us straight, saying, “I don’t even know what that means.”
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh had a similar answer, saying, “Uhhh, no.”
Penn Sate head coach James Franklin had maybe the best answer, explaining that NFT’s are a “lookalike of a player or team that you’re able to sell,” but he still wasn’t convincing.
Ohio State head coach, though he isn’t positive what they are, was enthusiastic about NFT’s, saying, “I think it’s exciting. It’s certainly very progressive.”
Needless to say, it’s a good thing these guys have jobs as coaches so they don’t have to worry about NFTs and crypto for a living.
