Tony Stewart, a.k.a ‘Smoke’, announced an NFT collection to celebrate the American race car driver’s career. The collection, ‘Legend of Smoke’ is limited edition and will launch via Orange Comet on August 23rd at 12 PM ET on OpenSea and TonyStewartNFTs.com.
The NFT collection tells the stories of Hall of Fame champion racecar driver Tony Stewart. Furthermore, it will dive into Tony Stewart’s racing in a way that has never been seen before. As the first of its kind in its industry, this partnership is poised to create an all-new fan experience through elevated fan engagement. That includes virtual hangouts with the legendary driver, at-track hospitality, and official autographed collectibles. With the focus on the fans, Stewart is giving them an opportunity to own one of the actual stock cars from his 2011 NASCAR Cup championship season.
This limited-edition drop goes live on August 23rd at 12pm EST on OpenSea and the official Tony Stewart NFT website.
Legacy Series
‘The Legacy Series’ is set to launch within the ‘Legend of Smoke’ collection. It is a collection of 500 generative 1 of 1’s, with each of these costing $250. Users who buy 2 Legacy Series NFTs will receive an autographed Tony Stewart hat. It is interesting to note that each NFT also comes with a 1/5 opportunity for a 30-minute Zoom hangout with Tony Stewart.
Champion Series
‘The Champion Series’ will include 30 signature animations NFTs in total, with each costing $5,000. These lucky holders will receive Tony Stewart’s autographed firesuit and hospitality at the track. As well as this, a virtual hangout with Tony (via Zoom). If all 30 pieces sell out, then one lucky holder will own one of Tony’s 2011 #14 championship NASCAR stock cars.
Tony Stewart is a semi-retired American stock car racing driver, with a career spanning NASCAR, IndyCar, sprint cars, and more. He has accomplished feats on the track (both paved and dirt) that few have achieved. In addition, he is currently the current co-owner of the NASCAR team Stewart-Haas Racing and the Superstar Racing Experience. Throughout his 20-year racing career, he has won countless championships himself. Today, he wins even more in his new role as a co-owner.
Particularly, ‘Smoke’ is the first and only driver to win championships in stock cars, Indy cars and open-wheel Midget, Sprint and Silver Crown cars.
