The Crypto.com arena is set to undergo major renovations over the next three years, as announced by the officials.

Lee Zeidman, President of Crypto.com Arena, Microsoft Theater and L.A. LIVE said, “The wide-ranging renovations to the arena and Xbox Plaza will provide fans with entirely new ways to experience their favorite sports and music events.”
“In addition to creating new and refreshed hospitality options and spaces on multiple levels throughout the arena, nearly all public and backstage areas of Crypto.com Arena will be included in this transformative project.”
The renovations will result in the development of a ‘City View Terrace’ featuring indoor-outdoor dining and entertainment experiences.
A multi-level ‘Tunnel Club’ will also be created, which will offer unique backstage views to select season ticket members and other VIP guests.
The ‘Chairman’s Club’ will be expanded and renovated, and the arena’s first-ever ‘Main Concourse suites’ will be created.
“This comprehensive and wide-ranging project is the most significant re-imagining of our home in the history of our arena. The upgrades will not only improve everybody’s experience, but it will also provide a new life and energy into our arena beginning this fall,” said Kelly Cheeseman, COO, AEG Sports.
Other upgrades include two new LED screens, a redesign of dining areas in the Yaamava’ and Lexus Clubs, new food and beverage menus at the Impact Sports Bar & Grill on the main concourse and a refresh of the Premium and Suite Level Entrances, concourses and the Kings, Lakers and Sparks’ locker rooms.
An expansion of Xbox Plaza at L.A. Live is also included in the project.
The renovation will be privately financed and cost nine figures. The project is expected to be completed by Fall 2024, with several of the improvements being introduced to fans during the 2022-2023 NBA and NHL seasons.
The arena’s renovation and design will be overseen by its original architects, Dan Meis and Ron Turner. AEG has employed PCL construction as the general contractor for the arena.

The arena was renamed Crypto.com Arena from the Staples Center towards the end of 2021, when Crypto.com struck a $700 million deal with AEG.
