Insomniac, one of the world’s largest dance music and experience companies, curated an NFT art gallery last weekend. Working in collaboration with WAYF – We Are Your Frens, the NFT gallery launched at the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC). The exclusive EDC Las Vegas NFT Art Gallery featured some of the rarest and sought-after NFT collections in the metaverse. Furthermore, there were NFT giveaways at the festival, with huge rewards.
The EDC electronic dance music festival is a global event and attracts more than 525,000 fans over three days. The partnership with WAYF celebrated the 2022 festival and offered an official digital assets collection of exclusively made EDC-inspired NFTs.
“Our teams have carefully curated a one-of-a-kind gallery experience designed exclusively for EDC Las Vegas 2022. It’s fun to see NFTs rise in popularity and to see this level of collaboration, from URL-to-IRL”, stated Danny Lee, founding Fren of WAYF.
This experience at the Insomniac NFT gallery was a superb combination of technology, nature, music, art, and philanthropy. Although the event is now over, the NFTs will also be available for sale at a fixed price of limited inventory on the NFT platform LGND (@LGNDART) for a further seven days post-festival. The auction ends on Friday 27th May.
What’s more, a portion of the sales from certain NFTs will go towards several charities. These include You Are RAD, Surfrider Foundation, Stop Asian Hate, etc.
The Insomniac NFT gallery showcased some of the best and most popular NFTs. But that’s not all. Significantly, there were some huge NFT giveaways over the festival weekend.
ZASH Global Media, in collaboration with Insomniac, dropped several NFTs from space via the ZASH satellite. These went directly to the EDC audience and included one Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT, worth up to $300,000
