The analysis, shared on X (formerly Twitter), points to a repeat of Bitcoin’s performance in 2016 and 2020, implying a substantial upcoming rally.
The OTT, utilizing moving averages and average true range data, has identified a breakout from its monthly bands. Two previous retests of these trend lines occurred, both ultimately resulting in higher prices. This current breakout, therefore, signals a potential “next major leg up” for Bitcoin. Stockmoney Lizards projects potential price targets of $200,000 by 2025, with a possible extension to $250,000 in 2026.
Despite this bullish outlook, a consensus price prediction of around $120,000 prevails. Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView data shows Bitcoin consolidating within its current price range, although market commentators remain optimistic. Near-term forecasts frequently cite $130,000 or more, even as macroeconomic factors and statements from the Bitcoin 2025 conference fail to dampen enthusiasm.
