SUI price chart hints at 2x rally amid Nasdaq ETF filing

Sui (SUI) shows strong technical indicators suggesting a potential price surge of up to 100% in the coming weeks. This bullish outlook is fueled by several positive developments, including the recent Nasdaq ETF filing with the SEC and the reclaiming of key technical support.

A crucial factor supporting this prediction is SUI’s recapture of the “Gooner EMA” support level on the weekly chart. This indicator, developed by trader NebraskanGooner, utilizes 11- and 22-period exponential moving averages (EMAs). Historically, crossing above this EMA range has preceded further price increases for SUI. The recent reclaim of this support, following a significant dip caused by the $200 million exploit on the Cetus decentralized exchange, signals a potential return to bullish sentiment. NebraskanGooner suggests that maintaining this support could lead to retesting all-time highs (ATHs), potentially reaching a new ATH exceeding the current record high of approximately $5.36 – a 40% increase from current prices. Fibonacci retracement levels and the prevailing ascending channel setup further project a potential new ATH of $7.56, representing a more than 100% increase.

Adding to the positive outlook, Nasdaq’s recent application for a SUI ETF with the SEC has contributed to increased investor interest. While regulatory approval remains uncertain, the application itself generates positive market sentiment. This follows the successful launch of a Sui exchange-traded product (ETP) by 21Shares in Europe, listed on Euronext Paris and Euronext Amsterdam. Since its July 2024 launch, SUI’s price has increased by over 350%. These listings have boosted total assets under management (AUM) in SUI-based ETPs to $317.2 million, with significant inflows recently observed.

While the potential for a significant price increase is promising, it’s crucial to remember that all investment decisions involve risk.
