CoinSniper recently celebrated its one year anniversary of helping investors locate where to find new crypto projects, presales and ICOs. Featured on Yahoo Finance, it takes the form of a cryptocurrency voting platform and crypto auditing service.
In May 2022 CoinSniper.net and its sister site ScamSniper turned one year old, having been founded in May 2021 – thousands of new cryptocurrency projects were developed during the bull run of that year and it can be difficult to know which are legitimate.
How CoinSniper works is the developers of new cryptocurrencies apply to have the name and ticker symbol of their upcoming crypto project listed on CoinSniper, which then becomes visible on the new listings page.
Then members of its community (including 27,000 members of the CoinSniper.net Telegram) and potential investors vote on which crypto projects from the new listings page to also feature on its top lists – which requires 500 upvotes.
For example at the time of writing Battle Infinity, a new crypto project in 2022, is featured on the main top list ‘Best Coins Today’ on the homepage and the project owner KYCed with CoinSniper.
CoinSniper put new projects through an auditing and KYC verification service for the teams behind new crypto projects to demonstrate they are who they say they are, and that their tokens exist.
KYC or ‘know your customer’ is similar to the process traders go through to trade on a regulated crypto exchange – providing a copy of their government issued ID, address verification documents etc. – only CoinSniper does this for the developers and project managers of new crypto projects to protect investors from scams and rug pulls.
The ScamSniper (run by CoinSniper) site carries out smart contract audits of new crypto projects. For example new crypto tokens on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) can be easily audited by trusted, specialized companies. Their audit partners include:

Another CoinSniper service is hosting AMA (ask me anything) events on their Telegram where project managers of new crypto projects answer any and all questions from interested crypto investors.
Users of CoinSniper can also put new crypto coins they’re interested in onto watchlists, and filter by market cap, votes, blockchain, date of submission, etc. CoinSniper also work alongside a crypto launchpad partner CookieSale for IDOs and a separate site for new NFT projects, NFTSniper.
A message and disclaimer on the CoinSniper Site reads:
‘Did ever you wonder where people find the best new cryptocurrency projects, coins and tokens like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu? They use websites like Coinsniper.net. Cryptocurrency projects are listed here before CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko and major exchanges. Find the best crypto moonshots on our website.

The description page and coin information for each new crypto project featured, also includes a link to the latest Twitter posts, other social media channels and website of that crypto asset for investors to do their own research – such as reading the whitepaper and tokenomics of a new coin, and checking Reddit forum threads.
A similar site to CoinSniper is Solid Proof, new crypto projects often use both a Solid Proof audit and the CoinSniper verification process to show they are legit and trustworthy, as well as other auditing companies such as Brewlabs, Certik, Coinhunt, Contract Checker, Dessert Finance, and SpyWolf.
