VeVe, a leading NFT digital collectibles platform, is launching a Tarzan NFT collection to celebrate the comic’s 50th Anniversary. The company has collaborated with Disney, Marvel, and DC to name a few. This partnership is with Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., the company that manages the worldwide rights to the iconic character, Tarzan.
Tarzan NFTs are landing on the mobile-first digital collectibles platform, VeVe. This is being made possible through the collaboration between VeVe and Edgar Rice Burroughs, inc. To clarify, this is the company of the late author of the original Tarzan comics, which manages the rights of Tarzan.
In the debut collection, users of VeVe can buy one of the most celebrated Tarzan comic books exclusively. The classic issue of #207 is the first one that the users will see and be able to purchase. First published 50 years ago, issue #207 was the first time Kubert brought his creative talents to the Lord of the Jungle. He depicted him as no one ever had before. The first drop is today (3rd June) at 8 am PT.

To clarify, Tarzan is an iconic character who was brought to life by Edgar Rice Burroughs, an American author, in 1912.
He is a fictional character who was raised in the African jungle by Mangani great apes. In this case, the story builds as he is introduced into civilisation, only to reject it. He wishes to return to the wild as a heroic adventurer. Also, the character has been depicted in many ways and has even been the title character in Disney films.
