Recently, Boston-based firm Wolf & Company, which comes under 100 accounting firms, has declared that it will now be accepting cryptocurrency payments through the leading payment processor BitPay. The cryptocurrencies that it now accepts also include popular meme currencies such as Shiba Inu ($SHIB), and Dogecoin ($DOGE).
Meanwhile, Tesla Boss Elon Musk also disclosed that his space enterprise, SpaceX plans to introduce payments in his favorite crypto asset, DOGE.
The firm in an announcement revealed that as it moves towards embracing crypto and its increasing role in the world’s economy, the team has already started work on the “cutting edge of cryptocurrency services.”
Further, the announcement states that Wolf provides expertise in various services related to the cryptocurrency space. The services cover various aspects such as tax, compliance, cybersecurity, audits, and smart contracts.
A century-old- accounting firm, it will now accept payments in various digital assets including Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), Litecoin ($LTC), the popular memes coins, Shiba Inu ($SHIB), and Dogecoin ($DOGE), and several other stable coins pegged to the U.S. dollar.
The news came shortly after a “next-gem, decentralized, travel booking platform,” XcelTrip which operates through blockchain technology announced that it has added support for payments for the 16th leading crypto asset Shiba Inu to its platform as the adoption of cryptocurrencies keeps on expanding.
Meanwhile, a partnership between Lavu, a key global restaurant software and payments solution provider, and Verifone, Fintech payments firm, earlier this month will allow the crypto payments in thousands of restaurants across 65 countries including meme-inspired cryptocurrency, Shiba Inu.
As per the reports from late last year, Travala, a Binance-backed travel booking platform, added support for the payment in Shiba Inu. More than 2.2 million properties across over 90,000 destinations in 230 countries and territories are offered by the platform.
The growing adoption of Shiba Inu comes at a time when the lead developer at Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, has hinted that there is an upcoming announcement that will “floor everyone.”
At the time of writing, the price of Shiba Inu was standing at $0.000011, up 1.58% in the last 24 hours.
