Alfa Romeo’s 2022 in the Formula One championship is still going strong.
Valtteri Bottas is spearheading the Swiss team’s incredible season, having won points in all but one race.
He has 38 of the team’s total 39 points, putting them sixth in the constructors’ standings, ahead of teams like Alpine or AlphaTauri, which have a better reputation and expectations.
However, this isn’t the team’s only big news. On Monday, May 30, holders of Alfa Romeo F1 Team Orlen Fan Tokens will compete for the team’s remaining few NFTs from Socios.com.
This is a one-of-a-kind event in Formula One, and it will take place on the Monday after a Grand Prix, in this instance the Monaco Grand Prix.
Those who manage to get their hands on one in each wave will receive a unique NFT 2.0, according to the organizers (three in total).
This is a challenging task because the virtual warehouse was empty in roughly 20 seconds in the first wave, but just eight seconds in the second wave for the 100 NFTs present in the software.
While Formula One fans will be focused on the legendary Monte Carlo race this weekend, the Swiss team’s NFTs will compete in a digital race.
Alfa Romeo showcased its all-new 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale – the world’s first NFT certified car – in a word-exclusive. The tiny Tonale SUV, dubbed “La Metamorfosi” or “the metamorphosis,” symbolizes a new age of luxury, electric, and connected automobiles for the more than 100-year-old Italian carmaker.
The Tonale is based on a concept of the same name that was shown in 2019 and will be Alfa Romeo’s first compact SUV in North America.
The CUV combines Alfa Romeo’s recognizable Italian design, which has remained loyal to their race-inspired Italian DNA since 1910, as well as cutting-edge, plug-in hybrid technology and unique and original technological solutions designed by Alfa Romeo to improve its performance.
