VENICE, CA — Venice Family Clinic Art Walk & Auction will include its first-ever NFT auction hosted on Nifty Gateway on May 13 featuring new works by Tomaso Albertini, Bryan Brinkman, Ninocence, Parin Heidari and Waambat, with proceeds benefiting Venice Family Clinic.
The first-ever Venice Art Walk Gallery opened in April at the new gallery space at Santa Monica Place. Hundreds of collectors and artists visited and sold stunning works by artists such as John Baldessari, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Rosson Crow, Laddie John Dill, Yumiko Glover, Nasim Hantehzadeh, Ed Moses, Alicia Piller, Ed Ruscha, Analia Saban, Kayla Salisbury, Zoe Walsh, and Brenna Youngblood. The sale supports the clinic’s mission to provide quality primary health care for people in need.
To date, the event raised more than $600,000 for the clinic. Event highlights included a VIP reception on April 21, where long-time supporters mingled with artists and collectors. On the closing weekend of the auction, there was an afternoon of creating murals inspired by the sun, sand, surf and sky, signature to the beachside communities Venice Family Clinic serves. Participating artists included iconic Venice muralist Jules Muck (Muckrock), Eric Junker (Junker), Alina Carballo, Stephen Carballo (The Los Angeles River), Cloe Hakakian and Gigi Allen. The 4 feet by 6 feet murals are now available for purchase at the gallery. The artists worked alongside children creating beach-inspired art, hosted by the Cayton Children’s Museum. Guests also received a customized Band Of The Free t-shirt at a screen-printing station, hosted by the country’s premier screen printers, Hit+Run.
